雅思8分作文 |不同能力的孩子是否应该放在一起教学

Some people think teaching children with different abilities together benefits everyone, while others think intelligent children should be taught separately and given special treatment. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

一些人认为将不同能力的孩子放在一起教学对大家都有好处,而另一些人则认为聪明的孩子应该被单独教学,并给其特殊的待遇。讨论双方观点并给出你自己的看法。

Paragraph 1—- Introduction

As some children are more intelligent than others, some people think they should be taught separately and given special treatment; other people believe children of differing abilities should be taught together. This essay will discuss both views and offer my own opinion.

—-不分班:提升学生的社交能力,保护普通学生的自尊心和自信心

Understandably, academically intelligent children learn faster. If taught separately, teachers can help students to develop their studies by gaining a wider understanding of their discipline. These students can make faster progress, which is also an advantage in later education. They may be more likely to gain early entry into university, or to make advancements in their chosen career much earlier. (正方观点)However, teaching children of all different abilities has its own advantage: higher socialisation between children, which helps to develop communication and inter-personal relationship skills. Furthermore, teaching children together prevents a hierarchy of intelligence within the class. This means there is less chance of bullying, and less damage to students’ self-esteem and confidence.(反方观点)

In my opinion, it is better to teach children of different abilities together. Besides the above-mentioned reasons, it is important to consider that intelligence is not purely academic. A student may not be particularly adept at mathematics or science, but they may be skilled in the arts or have a high emotional intelligence. (观点1)The development of creativity is just as important in education as are intellectual pursuits. In teaching students together, they are able to learn from each other in ways that academia cannot teach. Education should not be purely pedagogical; it should also be applied with the goal of forming well-rounded personalities. Mixed classes give children the opportunity to learn empathy, patience and kindness. (观点2)
